The Thai star finished at 17-under-par 271 at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, securing a four-shot victory over France’s Celine Boutier. With this win, Thitikul not only reasserted her status among the LPGA’s elite but also climbed to second in the season’s money list, surpassing $1.1 million in earnings.
Nelly Korda, the defending champion and one of the favorites coming into the event, finished in a tie for fifth at 9-under-par. Despite a valiant effort, Korda couldn’t catch fire in the final round and settled for a $106,039 payout. The finish marks her ninth consecutive top-10 this season, maintaining her grip on the world No. 1 ranking and momentum heading into the U.S. Women’s Open.
Celine Boutier, who pushed Thitikul early in the final round, earned $281,376 for her solo second-place finish. Andrea Lee and Carlota Ciganda shared third place, each taking home $181,010.
The total prize purse for the 2025 Mizuho Americas Open remained at $3 million, continuing the LPGA’s commitment to offering top-tier payouts and competitive opportunities across its calendar.
