Sir Andy Murray and his wife, Kim, have reported significant financial losses for the second consecutive year from their luxury hotel, Cromlix, located near Dunblane, Scotland. According to accounts filed with Companies House, Cromlix LLP recorded a loss of £369,045 for the year ending March 31, 2024, following a loss of £919,572 the previous year. Cash reserves have also declined from £1.1 million two years ago to £242,535.

Despite these financial setbacks, the Murrays remain committed to investing in the hotel’s future. They have submitted plans for significant expansions, including a new restaurant and additional bedrooms. Additionally, they have introduced unique offerings such as Cromlix Gin, crafted with ingredients sourced from the hotel’s grounds, to enhance the guest experience and attract a broader clientele.

These strategic investments suggest that the current financial losses may be part of a broader plan to establish Cromlix as a premier luxury destination. By focusing on long-term growth and enhancing the hotel’s amenities, the Murrays appear dedicated to ensuring the sustainability and success of their venture.
