Murray, who retired after the Paris Olympics in 2024, surprised the tennis community by joining Djokovic’s coaching team ahead of the 2025 Australian Open. Impressed by Murray’s impact, Djokovic expressed his desire to continue their partnership through the French Open and Wimbledon. “I was very glad when he decided to keep going,” Djokovic commented.

He’s also exploring it and trying to understand how he can excel in it,” Djokovic noted regarding Murray’s transition from player to coach.
