Andy Murray Opens Up About Coaching Novak Djokovic and the Challenges He Faced

In a surprising turn of events, former world number one Andy Murray has transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of guiding his longtime rival, Novak Djokovic. This collaboration, which began in late 2024, has provided Murray with fresh insights into the sport from a coach’s perspective.

Reflecting on his new role, Murray acknowledged the challenges inherent in coaching, noting that it has been more demanding than he initially anticipated. “I think when you’re a player, you just see what you do on the court… but, obviously, as a coach and a team member, the days look a bit different. And, yes, it’s pretty demanding.” (Sky Sports)
