Currently ranked 12th in the WTA standings, Paula Badosa’s future seemed uncertain after her withdrawal from the Japan Open. A stress fracture in her spine had sidelined her for months. Additionally, it forced her to withdraw from several tournaments, including the Australian Open and the French Open. Which dropped her to No. 140 in the world rankings. Which was far from her career-high of No. 2. Despite these challenges, she made a strong comeback this year.
