JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Canadian golf star Brooke Henderson will leave Liberty National with disappointment, as her campaign at the Mizuho Americas Open came to an early end after she missed the cut on Friday.
Henderson, a two-time major champion and one of the LPGA Tour’s most consistent performers, struggled to find rhythm over the first two rounds. Despite coming into the week with optimism and a solid stretch of recent form, the 26-year-old carded rounds of 74 and 73, finishing well over the projected cut line.
