Rafael Nadal Proposes Golf Showdown with Federer, Djokovic, and Murray
Rafael Nadal has playfully proposed a golf tournament featuring tennis legends Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray. In a recent interview, Nadal expressed confidence in his golfing abilities, suggesting he holds an advantage over his former rivals on the fairway.
“Yes, it could happen, but they have to get training – I have a bit of an advantage in that,” Nadal remarked when asked about the possibility of a golf match with the trio. “On the tennis court, there wasn’t that much difference between us, but in this I’m much better than them.”
Since retiring from professional tennis in November 2024, Nadal has immersed himself in golf, reportedly achieving a scratch handicap. Federer and Murray have also taken up the sport post-retirement, while Djokovic occasionally plays during his breaks from the ATP Tour.

As Nadal enjoys his retirement, he remains open to future exhibition matches, stating, “Probably in the future, if I feel a personal reason to do it, for an exhibition match or something like that. Then I’ll have that motivation. But for now, that moment hasn’t come yet.”
